Arsenal legend, Ian Wright, has branded Chelsea striker Diego Costa’s behavior as disgraceful after he refused to train with the reserve team.
Costa is in Brazil where he gave an interview stating that he was being treated like he committed a crime and wants a return to Atletico Madrid.
Although Costa received a text from Conte that he would no longer be needed at the club but the manager also told him to return to the club to train.
“I really don’t understand why players get away with things like this” Ian Wright said.
Diego Costa was also given more time off but now claims that he is getting fined every week. And might consider taking legal action against the club.
Chelsea had expected Costa to head back to England so as to put himself in contention for a place in the team as he still has a contract with the club.
“His act is totally disgraceful,” Wright said on the Monday Night Club show
He Needs To Return To Chelsea
“He definitely needs to come back to the club so if there is a chance that the manager wants him back in the team. He will be there. He is making a lot of money at Chelsea so I’m not sure Atletico Madrid can pay him.
Costa last featured for the London club during their FA cup clash against Arsenal. He joined the club from Atletico Madrid 3 years ago and has won two English Premier League Titles.
